Info

Hearst Galleries brought ELLE and Esquire together for a joint photography exhibition celebrating 40 years of Hollywood voices, creativity, and cultural influence. Presented at Hearst Tower, the exhibition brings iconic magazine covers and editorial photography into a shared gallery experience.

OSMOS designed and developed the exhibition’s digital counterpart, translating the physical showcase into an immersive online journey. The experience allows audiences beyond the gallery to explore decades of visual storytelling through expressive typography, editorial layouts, and carefully considered interactions.

Website

The website was conceived as a digital gallery rather than a conventional archive. Visitors move through a scroll-driven experience where magazine covers, portraits, and editorial imagery are presented as individual pieces within the exhibition.

Interactive transitions, flexible list and grid views, and subtle paper-inspired effects capture the tactile quality of print while creating an experience designed for the screen. The result extends the Hearst Tower exhibition into an accessible digital space without losing the scale, drama, and cultural significance of the original photography.
